High winds on Friday kept boats at the dock. Sat. was also a big water day. After 2 windy days Sun was poor fishing, the water was all mixed up and the fish weren't
biting. Monday things were back to normal. The water had settled and the fish were biting again. We left the dock at 5:00am, went to the 02's in 85ft of water, and trolled north. We had 4 people on board. Buy 7:06am we had limit, 20 fish. While pulling the rods the captain took 3 more. 23 fish, the picture says it all. This is our best fishing trip this year. Program: Moonshine spoons on the riggers, Glow plugs on 2 and 3 color cores and divers.

Had four first time salmon fisherman on board this morning. They were in for a real treat. We have been fishing to the north with great success all week ,so we headed north again. There was a light east wind overnight so we stopped in 45 ft of water and checked the water temp. It was 46 degrees at 27 ft. The screen was full of large hooks. We set up right there just north of the pier. It wasn't long and they had 4 fish on at once. We continued to catch 18 nice 4 year old King Salmon.
Program: 3 and 5 color cores with plugs. High divers with plugs and low divers with meat riggers. Shoot rigger with meat rig. Side riggers with Moonshine spoons. Ace high double glow was our best plug. One more north blow and the kings will be in P.M. lake.

Surface water temperatures were still in the low 70's for the most part. Catch rates are good for salmon and steelhead and consistent for lake trout and brown trout. Try 60 to 120 feet down in 80 to 200 feet of water with green and blue meat rigs or flies. Glow plugs or spoons were best in the early morning.
