The water has cleared up after the rain. Pike are still being caught off the Yacht Club on tipups with Smelt or Golden Shiners. The Perch are in! People are catching them on Wigglers and minnows off of Copeyan Park.
They are slamming steelhead on the southern side of PM Lake using spawn or blue shiners. Fishing 7-10 feet of water on Northern PM Lake off the point by the Yacht Club is good for spearing and tip-ups using golden shiners as bait. There haven't been any reports of perch on PM Lake. The water is starting to clear up, so the numbers should be better in a week or so.
A few nice smallmouth being taken on tubes and crayfish by Copeyan Park in Ludington. Also, a few good size perch in the Southwest corner.
